It all started in 1908 when a fisherman came to America to fish the waters off New England. He bought an old wooden U.S. Navy boat, crafted it into a fishing vessel, and fished with his sons.
He named the fishing boat "The Santa Lucia" which is still fishing in the port of Gloucester.
The grandsons who own the Lobster Pot, buy their seafood from local fisherman, like their grandfather; to guarantee freshness and quality and to help continue the tradition of the New England fisherman; a unique and hard-working industry.
We invite you to come to the Lobster Pot, where you will see his grandsons and their family working hard to serve the freshest and best local seafood that New England has to offer.
